How can I check availability for a studio rental?
Our current studio rental availability is always available online. Visit our booking page to view the calendar, choose your date and time, and book the studio directly.
What equipment is included with a studio rental?
Our built-in cyc wall lighting is included with your studio rental. Most photographers and filmmakers bring their own cameras, lighting, and production gear, and you’re welcome to bring whatever you need for your shoot.
Can Round Rock Studio shoot my project for me?
Absolutely. If you’re looking for more than a studio rental, our team offers professional photography, video production, and podcast production services. Tell us about your project and we can put together the right production plan.
Can I record interviews during a studio rental?
Yes. The studio has good acoustics and is regularly used for interviews and other productions where clean dialogue is important.
How do I access the studio for my rental?
Studio rentals use our self-entry system. Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive the information you need to access the studio during your reserved time.
Is there parking at the studio?
Yes. We have plenty of free parking right outside the studio, making load-in easy for clients, talent, and crew.
Can I bring a large crew for my studio rental?
Yes. Standard studio rentals include up to 10 people. For groups larger than 10, a $30/hour premium is added to your rental. This also gives your group access to the full studio, including the podcast areas, so everyone has more room to spread out.
Do you offer student discounts on studio rentals?
Yes. We offer discounted studio rentals for students working on college or school projects. Contact us with some information about your project and school and we’ll help you get set up.
Can I record music at Round Rock Studio?
We’re a photography, video production, and podcast studio—not a music recording studio. If you’re filming a music video, we’d love to have you. If you’re looking to professionally record or mix music, a dedicated recording studio will be a better fit.
Do you take passport photos?
Nope. Walgreens has you covered on that one.
Can I tour the studio before booking?
