Our Story
Round Rock Studio was built around a simple idea: creative people deserve a great place to bring their ideas to life.
Founded in 2022 after outgrowing a much smaller space, the studio was created to be a playground for anyone with a camera and an idea. A place to experiment, collaborate, try something new, and create work you’re proud of.
Since then, we’ve never stopped improving it. We continually refine the space, add new tools, and rethink the little details that make a shoot better. We take pride in every part of the studio and want each person who walks through the doors to feel like they have everything they need to create something great.
Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of playing a small part in some incredible productions, projects, businesses, and creative ideas. Even better, we’ve met some pretty amazing people while doing it. And we’re just getting started.
20+ years of production experience
Meet The Founder
Brent Pierce fell in love with video production in high school and has spent more than 20 years pursuing the craft ever since. Before picking up a camera, he was a drummer, eventually studying both video production and music at South Plains College. That combination of creativity, technology, and storytelling has shaped his career ever since.
Looking back, the fascination with cameras may have started even earlier. Brent’s grandfather always seemed to have a video camera running during family holidays, capturing ordinary moments that would eventually become irreplaceable memories. That same desire to capture moments and tell stories continues to drive his work today.
Over the years, a camera has taken Brent to incredible places, introduced him to amazing people, and given him the opportunity to build a career doing something he genuinely loves. But the role he values most is at home. Brent and his wife are raising two incredible sons, adopted together as brothers, and his family remains the thing he is most proud of.
Round Rock Studio is an extension of that journey. Brent’s goal is to use what he’s learned to create opportunities for other people, to give creators a place to pursue their ideas, develop their craft, tell meaningful stories, and build a life around the work they feel called to do.
Meet The Studio Manager
Taylor Juarez has been part of Round Rock Studio from day one and has played an instrumental role in turning it into what it is today. She keeps the processes, logistics, and behind-the-scenes details moving so the studio can deliver the experience our clients and members expect.
A graduate of St. Edward’s University, Taylor brings organization, problem-solving, and a sharp eye for the details that keep everything running smoothly. A lot happens behind the scenes at Round Rock Studio, and there’s a 100% chance Taylor had something to do with it.
“Good habits create good art. The way we do anything is the way we do everything. Treat each choice you make, each action you take, each word you speak with skillful care. The goal is to live your life in the service of art.”
― Rick Rubin
Events
Education has always been an important part of the vision for Round Rock Studio. We believe a creative space should be more than a place to work. It should be a place to learn, experiment, meet other creators, and get better at your craft.
Over the years, we’ve hosted workshops covering portrait, automotive, sports, and fashion photography, along with cinematography, lighting, video editing, and other areas of content creation. We’ve even turned the studio into a classroom for a multi-day Teen Filmmakers Camp, giving the next generation of creators a chance to experience filmmaking firsthand.
Sharing what we’ve learned and watching other creators grow is one of the most rewarding things we get to do at Round Rock Studio.
