1-on-1 Mentorship
Private consulting with me, Brent Pierce, for serious studio owners and entrepreneurs who want to build, improve, or grow a production studio.
Get practical guidance on everything from equipment and workflow to pricing, operations, client experience, and the business behind the studio.
More Than Gear Advice
Building a successful production studio involves a lot more than choosing the right cameras and microphones. You have to figure out the space, equipment, workflow, pricing, services, client experience, scheduling, processes, marketing, and eventually how all of those pieces work together as a business.
That’s where I can help.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in production and years building, operating, and continually refining Round Rock Studio. These consulting sessions give you direct access to that experience so we can work through the challenges you’re facing and build a studio that works technically and as a business.
Your Studio.
Your Business.
Your Challenges.
There isn’t a fixed curriculum because every studio owner is at a different point in the journey. We’ll focus our time on the decisions and problems that will make the biggest difference for your studio.

Pricing & Services
Hourly rates, memberships, production services, packages, add-ons, and figuring out what your studio should actually sell.
Client Experiences
From the first inquiry to the moment your client leaves the studio, we’ll look for ways to make the experience simpler, more professional, and more valuable.
Marketing & Growth
Positioning, website strategy, lead generation, partnerships, community, content, and ways to get more of the right people through the door.
Studio Business
Revenue, expenses, staffing, contractors, profitability, scalability, and the bigger decisions involved in turning a creative space into a sustainable business.

Who This Is For
Built for Serious Studio Owners
This mentorship is designed for people who are actively building or operating a production studio and are ready to treat it seriously. You don’t need to have everything figured out. That’s the point. But you should be serious about building something.
You might be:

Building your first professional
production studio

Opening a podcast
or content studio

Turning an existing creative space into a business

Trying to make your current studio more profitable

Struggling with pricing or what services to offer

Building systems so the studio doesn’t depend on you for everything
Upgrading equipment or redesigning your workflow

Trying to grow beyond simply renting a room by the hour
Advice from the Founder
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in professional video production, and I’m the founder of Round Rock Studio, a working photography, video, and podcast studio in North Austin.
Everything I share through this mentorship comes from actually doing the work. I’ve built the studio, bought the gear, set the prices, created memberships, worked with clients, managed contractors, solved problems, made plenty of mistakes, and continually refined the business along the way.
I also share much of what I’ve learned through my YouTube channel and podcast, where I talk openly about studio ownership, production, equipment, workflows, and the business behind it. My goal with this mentorship is to give you the kind of practical guidance I wish I’d had while building my own studio, so you can make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and build something that actually works.

Say About Us
Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions? Feel free to contact us.
Do I need to already own a studio?
No. You can be in the planning or building stages. The important thing is that you’re serious about moving forward with a professional studio or studio business.
Is this only about podcast studios?
No. Brent can consult on podcast, photography, video, content creation, and other production studios.
Can you help with the business side of my studio?
Yes. That’s a major part of this consulting. We can work through pricing, memberships, rentals, services, processes, client experience, staffing, marketing, profitability, and other studio-business decisions alongside the technical side.
Are the sessions virtual?
Yes. Consulting is primarily conducted virtually, so Brent can work with studio owners anywhere. In-person consulting may also be available for certain projects.
What's the difference between the Strategy Session and the 8-Week Mentorship?
The Strategy Session is best when you have a specific problem or decision you want to work through.
The 8-Week Mentorship is designed for deeper work. Meeting every week gives us time to implement ideas, see what happens, adjust, and continue making progress across multiple parts of the studio and business.
Will I receive a recording?
Yes. Mentorship sessions are recorded so you can revisit the conversation afterward. You’ll also leave with clear action items and next steps.
Can I just book a session immediately?
The process starts with an application. If it looks like Brent can genuinely help, we’ll schedule a free 15-minute discovery call before committing to either mentorship option.
