At Teen Filmmaker’s Camp, you’ll learn the basics of video production while getting hands-on experience. Don’t worry if you're new to filmmaking—this camp is designed for beginners. All you need is a passion for film and a desire to learn. We’ll guide you through all the steps to create and edit a professional-quality music video from start to finish. You’ll work directly with a local band under the guidance of a professional videographer to capture high-energy performance footage, edit the content, and finalize your film project. By the end of the week, you’ll walk away with a professional-quality music video ready to add to your portfolio and share with the world on YouTube. Join Us for four days of lessons July 8-11, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. What to Expect Day 1: Start with the Basics - Behind-the-scenes look at how film production works - How to set up and use a professional camera - Intro to lighting techniques - Record a live performance from a local band Day 2: Capture Strong B-Roll - Hands-on practice with gimbals and tripods - Shoot dynamic, cinematic footage - Hands-on practice with camera stabilization tools Day 3: Editing Workshop - Transfer and organize footage - Intro to video editing software - Start building your video from your footage Day 4: Advanced Editing & Exporting - Adding graphics and color grading to footage - Finalizing the project - Exporting the video and uploading it to YouTube Made for Future Creators Ages 14–18.
